GOLF Q&A'S

When and how do I use a Lob Wedge?

Lob wedges often have a 60 degree loft or more and are a valuable addition to your bag. They can be used to hit higher softer sand shots with more spin. The lob wedge allows to accelerate the club without fear of the ball going too far due to the loft. Stance is down to experimentation and feel as the lie will affect whether you choose to open or square your clubface. Trial and error is necessary to determine stance, weight distribution, ball position and swing.
