Win a VIP experience at the Open Championship 2010

The Open celebrates its 150th anniversary this year, with golf's oldest major returning to The Old Course at St Andrews.  Golf Today has partnered with Pilsner Urquell, official beer of The Open Championship, to offer a VIP experience to one reader and a guest to see the world's greatest golfers compete for the coveted Claret Jug.

The prize includes:

-  Travel to Edinburgh on Thursday, July 15

-  Chauffeur transfer to the world-famous five-star Gleneagles Hotel

-  Opportunity to play golf on one of Gleneagles' exceptional courses or indulge in a spa treatment in its luxurious ESPA spa

-  A night of entertainment and fine dining in private rooms at Gleneagles followed by an overnight stay in the hotel

-  Helicopter transfer from Gleneagles to St Andrews on Friday, July 16 for a day of VIP hospitality at The Open

-  Exclusive access to the Pilsner Urquell VIP chalet throughout the day, including a delicious lunch and light supper

Competition Terms and Conditions

1. No purchase necessary; you may enter the competition online at www.golftoday.co.uk

2. Competition open to anyone aged 18 and over, except employees of IPC Media or SABMiller plc and Miller Brands UK, their families, agents or any other person connected with the competition

3. Closing date is midnight on 2nd July, 2010. There will be one winner, who will be the first entrant drawn after that time.

4. The winner will receive two VIP packages to attend The Open, including travel from any location and accommodation at Gleneagles Hotel and the Hilton Edinburgh Airport. The package includes all meals as part of the official programme. Complimentary Pilsner Urquell and soft drinks are also included. All other expenses remain the winner's responsibility and a credit card will be requested upon check-in at the hotels to cover incidentals.

5. The winner must be able to travel to Scotland on Thursday 15th July, 2010 and return on Saturday 17 th July, 2010. Prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable.

6. Travel insurance is required but is not provided. The promoter accepts no responsibility for individuals travelling without adequate cover.

7. No cash alternative.

8. The promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value in the event that circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.  The promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

9. By entering, competitors agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
