The Astor Lounge & Restaurant and The 19th Bar at Hever Castle

Nestling in the River Eden valley, among the hills straddling Kent, Surrey and Sussex, just 20 minutes off junctions 5 and 6 of the M25, parts of Hever Castle date from the 13th century, and in the 1500s it was the childhood home of Henry VIII's second wife Anne Boleyn.

The private 9 hole golf course built for William Waldorf Astor, one of the richest men in America, who restored the Castle has today been replaced by a 250 acre 27 hole course layout, using the land’s natural beauty and contours to give each hole a distinctive character. The Championship Course, comprising the Kings and Queens 9s, includes one of the longest holes in Europe, the 644 yard par 5 17th.

The Championship Course has hosted the EuroPro Tour on Sky Sports in 2010 as well as prestigious events including The Kent Open and Kent PGA Championship.
