The Golf Today site was redesigned and relaunched in December 1998, at which time the page impressions were around 125,000 per month. Due to the comprensive archiving system, the size of the site grew, with some of the areas developing particular significance. With this is mind, the Amateur Golf site was developed in January 1999, allowing this area of golf to be covered with more depth. This was closely followed by Golf Industry, Go Golf and GolfPro-Online, with the latest addition to the Golf Today Network being Golf Ecology.

Golf Today brings you the latest in golf news and feature articles from the world of golf. Our golf news features change daily and our aim is to keep you informed of up to the minute issues from the world of golf.

Additionally the golf news section contains articles of interest and Year to Date contains a listing of this years stories. Golf Today is the hub of the Golf Today Network. The site acts not only as a gateway to the other sites in the Network but also provides more generalised golf news.

The golf news and Tours sections provide reports, scores and information about golf and with regard to all the major tournament events.Golf Today also has regular features and comment, some commissioned exclusively for the website.

The Clubhouse section of the website hosts a reference library and comprehensive golf course directory with all the up to date golf news and will shortly be the home of the Golf Today "Virtual Golf Club".

Visitors to the site can enter competitions, quiz the editor and find a useful links resource within the Notice-board section of the site.
