Thomas Bjorn conquers in Doha with Druh
February 7, 2011

Druh Belts & BucklesThere was Danish delight for Druh Belts & Buckles in Doha on Sunday when Druh ambassador Thomas Bjorn secured the Commercialbank Qatar Masters by four shots wearing one of Druh’s latest enamel striped belt buckles.

The victory is a momentous one for Bjorn as it catapults him into just inside the top 60 in the Official Golf World Ranking and on course to gain a slot in the prestigious WGC Accenture World Matchplay later this month.

Thomas Bjorn in Doha with his Druh Belt“It’s a big win, and hopefully it can push me on to bigger things,” said Bjorn, who celebrates his 40th birthday on February 18th. “When I play like this, I know I can play against the best.”

The win was the 11th European Tour title for the former Ryder Cup star and one of the assistants to Colin Montgomerie at The Celtic Manor Resort last year and follows his victory in the Golf Estoril Open de Portugal last June.

In fact Druh Belts & Buckles celebrated 23 tournament wins in 2010 around the world where the winners were all wearing one of their distinctive belts. Little surprise then that Druh is known as the ‘Choice of Champions’.

Druh Belts & Buckles offer the discerning golfer belts in sumptuous classic and chic casual styles and have quickly become the golf professionals’ style secret. The Druh leather belt range is handmade in ten water snakeskins, ranging from turquoise to pink and 15 leathers in different embossed styles, from crocodile to ostrich effect. Each belt purchased comes with your choice of Druh buckle and a standard Druh buckle that is easily interchangeable. The buckles are produced in brushed nickel, polished silver or gold with some featuring diamante and enamel inserts.

Druh Belts retail at around UK£160 for snakeskin and around UK£80 for leather and are available in the UK via The Golf Business, who can be contacted at jane@thegolfbusiness.com or on 01932 568 330 or at www.thegolfbusiness.com. Druh guarantees that the snakes used in production are not a protected species.
