Mouland & Baldwin in two tour celebration for Druh!
October 5, 2011

Druh Belts & BucklesDruh Belts & Buckles enjoyed a double celebration on Sunday (October 2) as Mark Mouland won on the European Senior Tour whilst Matthew Baldwin secured victory on the European Challenge Tour, both in style wearing Druh Belts.

Mouland recorded his maiden title on the European Senior Tour – and his first win for 23 years – at the Belas Clube de Campo Senior Open de Portugal near Lisbon. The Welshman chose one of Druh’s more traditional black belts with a brushed nickel buckle featuring the recognisable ‘db’ insignia in black enamel.

For his debut Challenge Tour win at the Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana at Tecina Golf in La Gomera, Baldwin of England sported a tan crocodile-effect leather belt teamed with a multi-coloured striped enamel ‘db’ buckle.

This double success at the weekend means that golfers that favour Druh Belts & Buckles have now won on the European Tour, Senior Tour, Challenge Tour and Asian Tour in men’s golf and on the Ladies European Tour and LPGA in the US, making Druh a truly international brand of champions.

Only last month, Druh was revelling in the achievements of the European Team who clinched The Solheim Cup from the US Team in the biennial competition at Killeen Castle in Ireland in one of the most thrilling climaxes ever seen in the prestigious team tournament. Captain Alison Nicholas’ team was kitted out in Druh Belts & Buckles specially designed for the ladies for the event.

Meanwhile just weeks beforehand 40-year-old Thomas Bjorn, a Druh ambassador, won the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles following a five-man play-off and then flew to Switzerland to secure the European Masters by four shots from Germany’s Martin Kaymer.

Bjorn’s fellow Druh brand ambassador, Lee Westwood, has also won twice on the European Tour this year whilst on the Ladies European Tour, Druh fans Ashleigh Simon of South Africa and Catriona Matthew of Scotland have both recorded wins this year.

Other tournament champions who regularly wear Druh’s distinctive ‘db’ belts since the range was launched two years ago include Swedes Robert Karlsson and Sophie Gustafson, Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee, England’s Gary Wolstenholme and South Korea’s Jimin Kang.
