Titleist players triumph on three continents
In the rain-shortened event in Malaysia, 25-year old Luiten finished on 15-under 198 for the 54 holes played, one shot ahead of Pro V1x loyalist Daniel Chopra. Three players, including Pro V1x loyalist Padraig Harrington and Pro V1 loyalist Rhys Davies, tied for third place, another shot back. Titleist was the overwhelming ball of choice at the Iskandar Johor Open with 101 players, compared to 23 for the nearest competitor.
Elsewhere, on the LPGA tour, Pro V1 loyalist Hee-Young Park won the CME Group Titleholders for her first career LPGA title, posting a 2-under 70 in the final round for a 9-under 279 total and a two shot victory. Titleist was again the overwhelming ball of choice with 41 players, more than eight times the nearest competitor with 5.
