Swiss victory is TaylorMade for Richie Ramsay
September 3, 2012

Richie Ramsay kept his cool and played a stunning final round at the Omega European Masters in Crans-Sur-Sierre, Switzerland, despite having never led a professional tournament after 54 holes. The 29-year old Scot and TaylorMade-adidas Golf Staff professional carded a final round 5-under 66 to win the biggest event of his career by four strokes.

Ramsay was consistent off the tee with his R11S driver and used his Tour Preferred MC Irons to lead the field in greens in regulation. The 2006 United States Amateur Champion also played RocketBallz fairway wood, PENTA TP5 golf ball and wore adidas Golf adiPURE footwear.

The victory was Ramsay’s second career European title and his first since the 2010 South African Open Championship.
