Nike Air Zoom TW 2010 - technology with luxurious comfort Designed to give extra support where it is needed most, Nike Golf has developed the Air Zoom TW 2010, a Tour grade shoe offering the luxury of leather with the built-in performance benefits of lighter and more durable materials. Making golf shoes for the world’s leading player is a demanding task. Tiger Woods, like most other golfers, has a left foot rollover in his follow-through, moving his weight off the centre of the shoe’s stability platform and transferring pressure to the upper part of the shoe – an area not normally designed to cope with such massive lateral forces. ![]() Adding backbone to the new Air Zoom TW 20010 is a TPU Stabiliser that extends above the traditional outsole to provide more sideways support and aid weight transfer without making the shoe stiff. The stabiliser works in harmony with the Ballistic Mesh panel to provide support without sacrificing comfort. The new Air Zoom TW 2010 uppers feature a combination of premium full grain leather and a soft, yet durable Ballistic Mesh Upper Panel. Lighter and more enduring than leather, the ballistic mesh will not stretch over time, offering more support than leather over the lifespan of the shoe. While being extremely breathable, the mesh panel boasts a Dupont coating that provides permanent stain and water resistance, ensuring your feet remain cool and dry whatever the weather. ![]() Combined with Nike Golf’s TW Power Platform, the responsive, low profile cushioning provided by Zoom Air technology, optimal traction from Champ’s Scorpion Stinger spikes, and a 1 year limited Waterproof Warranty, the new Air Zoom TW provides Tiger with a solid, balanced platform from which to unleash his athletic swing. Available from all good golf retail outlets from January 2010, the Nike Air Zoom TW 2010 is available in Black/Gunmetal Black and White/Met Pewter/Met Silver at a RRP of £150 (€250, SEK 2,295).
