PerfectaPutt perfected for 2010 - do try this at home!
May 5, 2010

PerfectaPutt - the ideal indoor or outdoor putting aidClose the office door. Get the cat out of the living room. Push the furniture back. PerfectaPutt - the orginal indoor/outdoor, portable golf hole – is back with a 2010 version that is lighter and less expensive, offering even more golfers the chance to benefit from its unique game improvement qualities wherever they may be.

Now with two ultralight plastic discs the exact diameter of a golf hole, Perfecta Putt is spring-loaded with just enough pressure to trap the golf ball exactly where it would have entered the hole.

While always showing whether a practising golfer has hit the middle of the hole, PerfectaPutt also traps the ball if it hits the right or left half of the cup – instantly telling the golfer if they have a tendency to pull or push putts. But if you are slighly off-line, you must get the speed dead right - otherwise PerfectaPutt 'lips out', just like a real hole!

Perfect Precision

Perfecta Putt is the perfect practice aid. Choose a straight putt and picture the dead centre line. You are now ready to practice.

When your ball hits the cup it stops exactly where it would enter the hole.

This precise feedback tells you whether the stroke delivered a pull, push or dead centre putt.

Ian Smith of PerfectaPutt, said: "Most battery powered ball returners or solid putting discs cannot accurately show where the ball hit them, or entered them – but with PerfectaPutt because the ball is trapped it gives instant visual feedback.

"We have adapted the design purely to make PerfectaPutt more durable, lighter and more versatile to make it even greater value for money than the original aluminium version."

PerfectaPutt is the brainchild of engineer and keen golfer Bob Brice. When given a drawing to produce a portable putting cup suitable for temporary putting surfaces he believed he could do a better job. The result was PerfectaPutt, ideal for use both inside or outside and on any type of surface. Lightweight and compact, it's the perfect travelling companion for any golfer who is serious about improving their putting.

Harold Swash using PerfectPuttFans of PerfectaPutt include world-famous putting coach Harold Swash, who has worked with some of the biggest names in European golf – including Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and double Open Champion Padraig Harrington.

The recommended practice routine is for golfers to choose a straight putt and picture the dead centre line. Repeatedly hitting the centre of the PerfectaPutt grooves a rhythmical, mechanical putting stroke and builds confidence.

The new plastic PerfectaPutt comes at a RRP £14.99 and is available from www.sphericalblade.com or from good golf pro shops and retailers.
