Upgrading a classic - the new Stowamatic GT2 trolley
August 4, 2010

Showcasing new features but retaining key characteristics, the Stowamatic GT2 is set to build on its predecessor's status as one of the UK's favourite powered trolleys.

The Stowamatic GT was known and loved for its unique styling, ingenious easy fold and click mechanism and phenomenal value - features which earned it a 'Best Value' award from the UK's biggest-selling golf magazine.

Now, the GT2 adds a new distance control function, bright LED display and an upgraded 27 hole lead-acid battery, complete with foil lined battery bag to keep it cool and help improve performance.

Ddesigned and built to provide golfers with exceptional performance and ease of use, the Stowamatic GT2 weighs just 9.5kg without the battery, thanks to an enhanced aluminium chassis providing superior strength and reliability.

The Stowamatic GT2 -
now you see it...

A simple folding mechanism means the GT2 is ready for use in seconds, while the specially designed Stowalock base provides extra secure bag-holding when used with the compatible Stowamatic bag, although the trolley will happily carry any brand of bag.

When it comes to electronics, the Stowamatic GT2 also excels. The new LED Stowamatic Control Panel allows golfers to set the trolley to proceed a certain distance before stopping (10m, 20m or 30m), or at a certain speed using the Intuitive Twist Control, and this information is clearly displayed on an easy-to-view screen.

Add detachable rear sport wheels and a fast 8-10 hrs battery recharge time and it's easy to see why the GT2 is destined to follow in the footsteps of its award-winning predecessor.

Now you (almost) don't...

Stowamatic is one of Europe’s fastest-growing golf trolley brands with Ian Woosnam, Major winner and 2008 Seniors Tour leading money winner and Player of the Year, as its ambassador.

Stowamatic is owned by leading leisure e-tailer, Sports Plc, whose CEO Simon Millington, said: “The Stowamatic GT was a resounding success and gave golfers incredible value for money.

"The GT2 builds on this with several superb new features and design improvements and clearly demonstrates that it's possible to make a high-performance golf trolley without it costing a fortune.

“By cutting out the middle man we are giving the golfer an outstanding new electric trolley at factory-direct prices, with the ease of ordering online and backed up by superb delivery options and customer service.”

The Stowamatic GT2 has an RRP of £229.99 and is available online from www.thesportshq.com.
