Druh Belts helps you to 'stripe it' in 2011
January 7, 2011

Druh Belts & BucklesDruh Belts & Buckles has earned its stripes for 2011 with the introduction of another range of buckles to complement its myriad of belts in leather and snakeskin in every conceivable colour.

The brand new buckles feature a combination of two-colour enamel stripes and the ‘db’ insignia that makes Druh Belts & Buckles instantly recognisable.

“When testing the prototypes of the double-stripe Druh buckles amongst the Tour players, we were overwhelmed by the positive reaction they created,” comments Simon Hurd, former Tour pro and founder of Druh Belts & Buckles.

“This range is very different from anything else on the market and the buckles have really captured the imagination of the pros who have been matching them up to their football teams and their country of birth. The yellow and blue buckle for example has proved really popular with the Swedes.

“As well as looking smart, some of the unusual colour combinations that have been used in the striped belts are extremely eye-catching and work well with the wide range of colours that our belts come in.”

Druh, who signed up one of golf’s hottest stars, Lee Westwood, as a brand ambassador earlier in the year, boasts a wide selection of funky, yet stylish buckles from the original ‘db’ range in brushed nickel, gold and silver to oval-shaped buckles with coloured ceramic infills as well as glitzy diamante designs and ceramic flower buckles in feminine hues for the ladies.

Already the number one belt on both the European and Asian Tours, the new range of brightly striped buckles is likely to further extend the appeal of Druh Belts & Buckles.

The recent victory in February by Denmark’s Thomas Bjorn in the Qatar Masters by four shots, wearing one of Druh’s latest striped belt buckles, has further reinforced the perception that the stylish belt range is the ‘Choice of Champions’ for golfers around the world.

Offering the discerning golfer a range of belts in sumptuous classic and chic casual styles, Druh Belts & Buckles have quickly become the golf professionals’ style secret. The range is handmade in leather and water snakeskin, in vibrant colours from turquoise to pink, yellow to red, purple to green and in variety of embossed styles from crocodile to ostrich effect. Each belt purchased comes with your choice of Druh buckle and a standard ‘db’ buckle that is easily interchangeable. The buckles are produced in brushed nickel, polished silver or gold with some featuring sparkling diamante, bright enamel and flower motifs especially for the ladies.

Druh Belts retail at around UK£160 for snakeskin and around UK£80 for leather and are available in the UK via The Golf Business, who can be contacted at jane@thegolfbusiness.com or on 01932 568 330 or at www.thegolfbusiness.com. Druh guarantees that the snakes used in production are not a protected species.
