FootJoy is overwhelming shoe and glove choice of PGA Assistants

FootJoyFootJoy, the no. 1 shoe and glove in golf, was again the overwhelming brand of choice by the majority of field at this year’s Powerade PGA Assistants’ Championship held at East Sussex National from the 10th–12th August.

The hotly contested tournament was eventually won after a dazzling final round display. Starting the day five-shots behind the leaders, winner Matthew Cort produced eight birdies for a final round 64 and a five-under-par three-round total of 211 and an impressive six-stroke victory. A former European Tour player, the enjoyed the comfort and style of FootJoy Shoes, receiving a cheque for £5,000 along with a coveted place in the end-of-season Titleist PGA Play-Offs in Turkey.

Of the 117 players competing at the championship over 80% chose the performance of FootJoy’s market-leading shoes, including six players that finished inside of the top ten. Additionally 68% chose the fit and feel of a FootJoy glove, including three of those that finished inside the top five.
