HIRZL AG makes active commitment to growth in Europe
June 20, 2011

April 2011 sees the establishing of HIRZL Europe - Service GmbH, a service and logistics company that will support sports glove specialist HIRZL AG of Switzerland.

Managing director Markus Welb has had very little time to acclimatize to the new role, due to the speed of expansion the Hirzl brand is experiencing.

"Since the launch of the parent company in 2008 the business has made steady progress," explains Welb. "The most important task for the new company is to support the distribution, logistics, sales promotion and event organization for our partners and accounts across the EU, taking full account of the different structural and commercial variations of the European territories from Iceland to Turkey."

This company has clearly been enjoying a growth spurt in the last five months. The brand has since become the official glove of the Ladies' European Tour (LET), and has signed Elisabeth Esterl as LET Brand Ambassador and Swedish LPGA star Anna Nordqvist as a Staff Player.
