WHAT IS NEMIDON?

Quite simply, a new range of moisturising, antiseptic, pain-relieving and chafe-preventing gels that appear to address a vast number of problems that the sportsman - or indeed a wider public - can raise!

More precisely, Nemidon products are a range of aqueous gels with a pleasant texture and without the addition of oils. The gels are derived from a neutral seaweed colloid, are water attracting, yet insoluble in cold water.

The molecular structure of the gels consists of long tubes and cavities walled by sugar units. These allow water to diffuse in and out at will, and will immediately begin providing water to anything which is inherently drier than itself.

The large cavities also enable the addition of active ingredients which can then be delivered to the skin. If the active agents are water soluble they are delivered by diffusion, if the ingredients are fat soluble the skin will naturally draw them from the gel.

When the gels are rubbed onto the skin they rapidly absorbed so that there is no discernible residue, leaving the skin with a pleasant velvet feeling. If necessary in the case of injury strapping can be applied immediately after application.

The base gel of the range is in itself an excellent moisturizer, with the added effect that , unlike most other skin applications, they all allow perspiration to pass through rather than the application being washed away with perspiration.

Because the actives are never dissolved in the gel itself, but rather are dispersed in water in cavities within the gel, the actives are delivered through water flow rather than by diffusion. This facilitates a quicker and more effective delivery of pain relief from “Black n Blue” and “Eze”.

WHAT IS THE THERAPEUTIC PRODUCT RANGE?

ULTRAHYDRATION GEL
Has the ability to deposit large amounts of water into the skin with a long lasting effect (confirmed by double blind clinical trials). It provides a rapid hydration leaving skin clean with no need to constantly re-apply, even in areas of high perspiration levels. Its long lasting effect means twice daily applications are sufficient until skin integrity returns, then a single daily application.

FOOTCARE AND DEODORANT
The same hydrating ability as ULTRA HYDRATION GEL. A long lasting moisturiser with added antiseptics and a pleasant smell to prevent and mask unpleasant foot odour.

Added essential oils:
• Tea Tree – Antiseptic and kills odour producing bacteria
• Lavender – Antiseptic and promotes blood circulation
• Lemongrass – Antiseptic and a natural deodorant
• Rosemary – Assists in moisturising the skin

ALL BLACK n BLUE
The same hydrating ability as ULTRA HYDRATION GEL, with added botanicals and essential oils designed to relieve acute muscular aches and pains:

• St Johns Wort – Eases muscle cramps
• Arnica – Immune system stimulant
• Witch Hazel – Anti-inflammatory
• Menthol – Topical analgesic
• Clove – Blood circulation stimulant

EZE
The same hydrating ability as ULTRA HYDRATION GEL with added essential oils formulated for the relief of chronic and recurring injuries:

• St Johns Wort – Eases muscle cramps
• Witch Hazel – Anti-inflammatory
• Lavender – Antiseptic and promotes circulation
• Menthol – Topical analgesic
• Clove – Blood circulation stimulant
Ideal for sustained use after the application of ALL BLACK ‘N BLUE.

OTHER PRODUCTS IN THE RANGE

Remains on the skin when sweating or swimming, once dry protection continues until washed off with soap. Ideal for the prevention of chafing from friction and wind also prevents blisters from rubbing footwear, safe to use between the legs and under arms and breasts.
