TaylorMade launches "Ghost Sightings" application on its Facebook page
September 6, 2011

TaylorMadeEarlier this summer, TaylorMade Golf introduced the all new Ghost Spider putter and just recently the Raylor Ghost putter, which continues the line of iconic white Ghost putters. Following the excitement around the Ghost series putters, the company launches "Ghost Sightings," an application on the TaylorMade Golf Europe Facebook page that gives friends the opportunity to post one or more images of themselves, their friends or even Tour Pros with any Ghost Series putter.

"There is no comparison to a Ghost putter," said Michael Fox, TaylorMade's product marketing manager for putters. "The performance from the white heads has stood out and generated lots of excitement among Tour pros and consumers. We want to bring this excitement to the web with Ghost Sightings."

In addition to uploading their Ghost putter pictures, friends can also share the story behind the images. Ghost Sightings posts will also appear from TaylorMade Staff Tour professionals like Justin Rose and the legendary putting guru Dave Stockton, as well as the TaylorMade Tour team.

The latest putter in the Ghost series is the new Raylor Ghost. The Raylor Ghost line includes three different models consisting of one blade type, the DA-12 while the FO-72 and CO-72 are mallet based. For all three models TaylorMade has built upon its white colour body concept, successfully recognised as the Ghost line's distinctive feature. The new range features a PURE ROLL insert enabling soft feel and enhanced alignment, and in addition, a thicker black rail has been introduced for additional support encouraging golfers to putt more confidently.
