WHS Fairway, the most exclusive golf divot tool in the world
August 24, 2011

There are many things we all dream of doing or buying to prove to ourselves or show the world that golf is not just one of our favorite sports. It's the perfect reflection of who we are and how we walk through our lives.

There are the defining instants in which we are hitting the ball, and there are the equally defining hours in which we think, talk, strategize and - ultimately - enjoy the game of life.

Unlike anything you've ever seen - or anything that's ever been made - the D3 Fairway is a divot tool that stands apart and above . This gorgeous golf tool is built with precision and passion, and works with the same comfort and style that has made WHS one of the most admired creators of functional jewelry in the world.

Much like the golf clubs we choose, or even the wristwatch that we wear, there are tools that accompany us and serve us loyally for a lifetime.

"We can't always buy the coolest or the best or the longest lasting - says Matt Conable, founder&designer of WHS. But every now and then, it is important to invest in objects that are personal, immediately useful, yet timeless in their appeal and relevance. These rare pieces are worthy of being passed on to another generation ".

The Fairway is an automatic tool - the two pronged fork is spring powered and quickly opens by pressing the button lock. It is just pure fun to play with and use. The automatic mechanism is complimented by a sliding safety on the back of the handle, which secures the tool in the closed position for safe carry. In case you were wondering, the Fairway is completely legal, everywhere.

Each Fairway includes a PGA regulation size ball marker crafted from stainless steel, and finished with custom 'guilloche' engraving on the border. This technique is done on 100 year old Swiss watch engraving machines - the same machines that textured the Faberge eggs and are still used to decorate the dials on the finest timepieces in the world. The center is left open for personalization - initials, monograms, club logos, or other artwork can be added here. The ball marker is held in place by a hidden rare-earth magnet , and released by pushing down on the edge of the marker towards the front of the handle.

Finally - the concave curve on the butt of the handle holds your putter handle! Deploy the tool, stick it in the ground, and lay your putter across it to keep the handle dry while you wait your turn...

The collection is built with exotic and storied materials that have made William Henry an icon in the world of luxury tools. The handles include hand forged damascus steel or mokume gane, the beautiful inlays are made with fossil Mammoth tooth, coral, mother of pearl or wood. Click here to see the full collection.

Each D3 Fairway includes a lined leather ClipCase© for easy and secure carry, and is sold in a presentation box with our Certificate of Authenticity.
