Golf Pride gets a firm grip with the Z-Grip Cord
April 2, 2012

Golf Pride, the no. 1 grip on Tour, has launched the new Z-Grip Cord grip, the firmest and stiffest cord grip the company has ever made, designed to reduce twisting at impact.

The Z-Grip Cord grip features a deep "Z" shaped texture pattern that winds vertically around the grip to aid control and moisture management and to maximise responsiveness. This design pattern is complemented with a white end cap and distinctive white body paint.

The grip is specifically designed to reduce twisting at impact.

The Z-Grip Cord grip is one of a number of new grips which Golf Pride is introducing in time for the 2012 season. Also new are the New Decade MultiCompound Whiteout, the Tour Velvet 360, the Tour Velvet BCT Cord White and the Tour Wrap 2G White Midsize.

Golf Pride is by far the most popular grip on all the leading Tours around the world. Over 80% of Tour Professionals re-grip with Golf Pride although none are paid to do so.
Being the undisputed leader is not a position Golf Pride takes for granted. Like all equipment in golf, grip technology is constantly changing and 2012's new grips have evolved to fit the needs and preferences of all players. With over 60 years of experience, the company’s dedication to performance has never wavered, delivering unsurpassed quality and consistency across all its products.

"Golf Pride has long been a leader in new grip technology, from the invention of the slip-on grip to the introduction of the hybrid category of grips," said Dan Koehler, Director of Sales and Marketing for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. "The 2012 line-up offers a grip for every player’s needs, ability and club selection."

"Golf Pride pushes the limits in moulded rubber grips to offer the ultimate feel, feedback, performance and consistency to help golfers play their best."
