Nikon COOLSHOT offers Rock-solid accuracy
July 13, 2012

Nikon has signed Robert Rock as the face of the Nikon COOLSHOT laser rangefinder ahead of the Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes, to coincide with concluding a 5 year extension as a Patron of the Open Championship.

Rock is a two-time winner on the European Tour and is currently ranked 14th in the Race to Dubai. His most recent victory came at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship in January, where he defeated none other than Tiger Woods in a final round showdown to register his first win of 2012.

Rock will carry a Nikon branded tour bag and yardage book, while his caddy will wear a Nikon branded cap.

Robert will also act as the face of the new Nikon COOLSHOT laser rangefinder, released earlier this year. “The COOLSHOT is a fantastic laser, " he said. "I really like how easy it is to use, one click and you can get multiple yardages in seconds. I also like the way it fits in the palm of your hand and its cool white design.” (Watch the video)
