PING to present and custom-fit i20 range at The Belfry
January 25, 2011
Following the successful PING G20 Demo Day at The Belfry last July, the country’s most popular golfing destination has again been chosen as one of the venues to launch the eagerly-awaited i20 range on Monday 6 February – a week before it goes on sale in Pro shops across the UK.
Visiting golfers will benefit from expert Trackman swing analysis and the N-Flight Software technology, exclusive to PING – the brand played by Lee Westwood, three-time European Tour Golfer of the Year and former world no. 1, and 2011 Rookie of the Year Tom Lewis.
The special PING Demo Day will take place at The Belfry’s renowned Custom Fit Centre at its PGA National Golf Academy from 2-6pm, when technicians from PING will custom-fit visitors with the new i20 family of clubs in a series of 30-minute sessions.
“We’re honoured that PING has chosen The Belfry as one of a number of selected venues to launch their new range,” said Director of Golf Gary Silcock. “We welcomed a record number of visitors to the PGA Academy last year – all of whom were able to take advantage of custom-fitting opportunities with nine of the world’s top golf manufacturers, including PING.”
The Belfry’s National Custom Fit Centre is the largest dedicated custom fit venue in Europe and oversaw more than 2,000 fittings for golfers last year.
