FJ dominates at PGA Professional Championship

FootJoy, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf, once again demonstrated its overwhelming popularity among golfers of all abilities by dominating equipment counts at the 2015 Titleist & FootJoy PGA Professional Championship.

Hosted at Burnham & Berrow, the prestigious club professionals' event saw the overwhelming majority of competitors trust the superior comfort and fit of FootJoy shoes and gloves, following the example set by their PGA and European Tour Brand Ambassador counterparts.

Of the 144-player field, an impressive 112 players chose to participate wearing shoes form the brand's extensive 2015 footwear range, which includes the highly popular HYPERFLEX and D.N.A. models, offering outstanding comfort and stability. This figure is even more striking considering FJ's closest competitor brand achieved a field count of just 20.

The admiration for FJ among the UK's PGA Professionals was also evident in the glove category, with more than 50% of those competing opting for the superior feel and fit of the brand's market leading gloves, including FJ Pure Touch®, StaSof® and SciFlex Tour™.

FJ was also the glove and shoe of choice for the 2015 champion Paul Hendriksen of Dinnaton Golf Club, who clinched a one-shot victory wearing DryJoys Casual shoes and SciFlex Tour golf glove. His final round 72 was enough to claim the coveted title which also grants him entry to next year's PGA Cup at CordeValle in California.
