Anja to model Glenmuir ladies fashion

German Professional Anja Monke will be modelling the new Glenmuir fashion collection on this season's Ladies European Tour.

Anja is entering her third year on the LET, and is looking to build upon a fantastic first two seasons that saw her post ten top ten finishes.

Glenmuir's Women's Collection is one of the fastest growing areas of the company's business - particularly in Europe - and the 2006 collection incorporates the most comprehensive range of women's products that the Scottish company has ever launched. Dry Tech performance shirts and classic shaped-fit cotton lycra polo shirts coordinate with luxurious cashmere and cotton sweaters, complementing Glenmuir's signature lambs-wool styles.

The Storm Bloc. outer wear collection has been expanded, and Glenmuir is preparing to launch its first new ladies waterproof suit later on this year. The new collection showcases three new vibrant seasonal colour stories, and with Anja promoting the famous Glenmuir diamond on the LET the company is expecting its women's business to grow from strength to strength.

Anja believes clothing to be important for a woman in her position. With increased TV coverage of the game, her audience is obviously getting bigger all the time, and her image is a key component in her career. Additionally, fellow competitors, officials and so forth take note of clothing - particularly on women - due to a wider range of design and styling possibilities that make an ‘individual look' more striking.

“Glenmuir is the top player in the market…every pocket is in just the right place,” says Anja enthusiastically. “I love the Glenmuir fabrics, my favourite colours being white, black and pink. I love the look of the Ladies' Collection. It's the perfect combination of fashion, sport and function.”

After embarking on a vigorous training schedule with new coach Tyler Kirkendoll from Moon Valley Country Club in Phoenix Arizona , and a new mental coach from Germany , she is set to make a flying start to the season. On tour she likes to relax with a good book or a movie. As Anja's main sponsor is online retailer buch.de AG Internetstores, who supply books, music, movies, DVDs and other media-related throughout the German-speaking countries, it looks as if she has everything she needs to make large strides this year.
