Light and versatile weather wear from Bay Hill

The new range of outerwear from Bay Hill by Palmer offers the most incredible versatility and comfort – as changeable in character as the notoriously British weather.

The Whispa-Tex Collection feels like suede to the touch, but at a fraction of the weight of calf skin it is a wind-tight, water-resistant 7-ounce micro-fibre. It has very high levels of weather protection but delivered through a fabric that is light enough to make every action from off the tee to the green and walking the 7000 yards in between literally a breeze.

The Whispa-Tex range has three design variants. The Charger is a windshirt design with a split crew collar and large front pockets. A rib-knit waistband promotes body warmth by helping keep out drafts, while allowing flexibility for the most extreme body turn while driving. Dual cuffs feature both rib-knit next to the skin and snap placket outer device.

The Axiom top is a half-sleeve top with textured cuffs and waistband, marked with a stylish grey stripe. Front hand pockets finish off the features list

The Kingsman, meanwhile, is a pullover with elasticated waist and cuffs – but with the added flexibility of zipped sleeves to allow either full or half sleeve protection in a matter of seconds… that changeable weather again!

Branding is subtle with Bay Hill below the collar at the rear, the ‘brollie’ motif synonymous with the Bay Hill brand, and a small but distinct full colour brollie between the Charger’s collar placket studs.

Available in black and ranging in size from m to XXL, the Whispa-Tex range is available from €59.95 or £39,95.
