SEEN AT THE LONDON GOLF SHOW
Day Two of the 2008 London Golf Show was a busy one, with a pleasing number of young golfers trying their skills at putting and long-driving, and picking up the many bargains on offer.
Among the celebrity guests was actor Robert Powell, most famous for his role as Jesus of Nazareth in Franco Zeffirelli's 1977 film of the same name, who sampled the attractions before giving a press conference.

[Editors note: We understand that the organisers would not allow Powell to walk across the Thames to the Floating Green in order to be able to chip onto it from close range and win the holiday at TPC Sawgrass, as this would have been unfair to the shore-bound competitors who are all contributing to charity with their more difficult, full-length shots.]
The show is open from 10am - 4pm on Sunday, and with so much to see and do, we recommend you get to ExCel early and avoid the queues at the very popular competition and simulator stands. Tickets cost £10 for a single, or £15 for two - money you'll easily make up on the bargains you'll find.
Here's a small selection of products we think you should take a look at. Even if some of them are on the expensive side, one can always dream! And talking of dreams.....

Indeed the 'F1 Lithium' (for 'Folding One', they say) almost carries an F1 price tag - £2500. But there are cheaper models for barely more than a grand!
