Celtic Manor Resort - the 2010 Ryder Cup Venue

Celtic Manor is an outstanding 5* resort. Not only is the accommodation first class but this golf resort is the Ryder cup venue for 2010. Home to 3 quality golf courses, Celtic Manor is a true golfer’s haven.

Celtic Manor

The Twenty Ten Course was built in 2007 and this par 71, 7,493 yard golf course was chosen to host the Ryder Cup. With many spectacular holes, golfers can expect an interesting game manoeuvring around the many lakes and bunkers located throughout the course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones JNR the first golf course at Celtic Manor was the Roman Road. A popular choice, this course offers a variety of interesting challenges such as wide open fairways which then lead onto tighter holes through mature woodland. The final golf course is the Montgomerie. This par 69 has a decent mix of holes that will put all golfers through a testing and challenging game of golf.

A golf holiday at Celtic Manor is a treat for any keen golfer. The fantastic resort is home to first class bedrooms, excellent food and an excellent spa for those looking to really unwind.
