GREAT GIFTS FOR GOLFERS

Golf Show Tees Up New Partnership

Two-for-one schemes have created a dichotomy in golf: golfers love them, golf course owners resent them. But the London Golf Show has launched a two-for-one offer that everybody will appreciate.

Anybody buying a ticket to the London Golf Show, which takes place at ExCeL from April 25-27, will automatically be allowed entry to A Place in the Sun Live, the world's largest overseas property exhibition which takes place at the same venue on the same dates.

The exhibition is the official event of the popular Channel 4 TV show and magazine of the same name, presented by Amanda Lamb. The joint ticket initiative was a natural one to implement, according to the Golf Show Group's managing director, Andy Barwell.

He said: "There is a synergy with regards to the visitor marketplace for both shows; many of the people looking to buy abroad will be golfers. So we felt it would be mutually beneficial to drive visitors to each other's event."

Ken Pritchard, group events director for A Place in the Sun Live, added: "Working together with the London Golf Show we can add to the visitor experience and offer twice the incentive to visit ExCeL London."

In addition to this great offer both shows are currently offering a two-for-one ticket offer - meaning two people get access to both shows for a bargain price of £15.

The London Golf Show will return to ExCeL for its fourth annual show while the Golf Show Group - the company behind the event - is still celebrating the enormous success of the launch of a sister event, The Golf Show, NEC Birmingham, in November.

A Place in the Sun Live has four overseas property shows taking place in different parts of the country in 2008 and aims to help people find their dream place in the sun, whether for a great investment, an idyllic holiday home, retirement property or a permanent home abroad.

Both the London Golf Show and A Place in the Sun Live are at ExCeL from April 25-27, 2008. For more information visit www.londongolfshow.com and www.aplaceinthesunlive.com
