Sligo Grammar clinch Irish Schools Stroke Play

Sligo Grammar School have convincingly won the inaugural Irish Under 15 Schools Stroke Play Championship by four shots at Seapoint.

TJ Ford led the way for Sligo, carding a nett 69 off an eight handicap, while David Brady (6) came in with a 75 and Ben Rooney (13) carded a 79.

That was enough for victory on a marvellous Seapoint links, with Newbridge College claiming the runners-up spot on a combined countback from Bangor Grammar. St Augustine's, Dungarvan, finished fourth.
