Veritas World Junior Announces 2012 Schedule

The Canadian Junior Golf Association and the BC Junior Linkster Tour have partnered with Veritas World Junior to run qualifiers across Canada for determining qualified players to participate in the Inaugural 2012 Veritas World Junior.

Earl Fritz, CJGA Executive Director, said today:

This exciting opportunity for Canadian Junior Golfers will truly encourage growth in golf from coast to coast and enhance the experience offered by already existing major international Junior Golf championships. We see the entire golfing community supporting our youth in truly bringing out the best in kids!!"

Veritas Details

The Inaugural Veritas World Junior is coming to the Los Angeles area in July 2012. Veritas World Junior is open to qualified Boys and Girls ages 6-18 playing individual age divisions. Each age will be a separate division for a total of 26 divisions. If all Veritas Divisions fill to capacity the total field for 2012 will be: 3,944 Players

Player's age on July 22, 2012 will determine their division.

8 and under divisions play 9 holes each day.

9 and older divisions play 18 holes each day.

Caddies for 10 and under divisions.

Championship division 18 yr old Boys and Girls will play at the fabulous Pacific Palms Resort, home of the 2011 LPGA Kia Classic won by Sandra Gal.

Veritas begins with Check-in and Opening Ceremonies on July 14, 2012 at Dodger Stadium prior to game between the

Los Angeles Dodgers

San Diego Padres

Game time to be announced.

Following tournament check-in, the Veritas Players will assemble on the floor of Dodger Stadium in front of all the spectators for Veritas Opening Ceremonies prior to the game. One Veritas Player will be randomly selected to throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch.

Following the Opening Ceremony, the Players and their families will enjoy a Major League Baseball game. Veritas World Junior Registration is now OPEN!
