What is RangeMark?

RangeMarkRangeMark is the Driving Range equivalent of GolfMark, a national scheme run by the English Golf Union (EGU) and the English Women's Golf Association (EGWA) that identifies and recognises junior and beginner friendly golf facilities, helping young golfers get off to the right start in golf and develop their potential in a child-safe environment.

The role of driving ranges is fundamental to golf development in England and clearly they are the starting point for the majority of newcomers to this great game, providing a variety of coaching and practice opportunities.

RangeMark has been created to recognise those stand-alone ranges that are at the forefront of developing the game and this initiative has been developed and refined ‘by golf ranges for golf ranges’.

Learning golf at a RangeMark accredited range ensures young players and their parents that the coaching and playing facilities meet the highest standards for juniors, that the environment is fun, enjoyable and welcoming to young golfers, and that child protection and duty of care needs are met by all involved at the range.
