My golfing wedding dream comes true!

Well what an amazing week it has been. I've married the man of my dreams, Dan Frost, one of the country's leading golf coaches (no excuses for bad play now) and I had the perfect wedding reception at Parkstone Golf Club - the club were I first started to play the game aged 13 and where every member feels like they belong to my family.

The golf club was transformed into a pink golfing paradise courtesy of some amazing decorations. Just a couple of little 'thank-yous' if I may... firstly to Srixon for supplying the most amazing logo golf balls for me - a picture of my husband and I on the beach in Sandbanks where we had our wedding ceremony at 4pm last Saturday (27th August).

What a great addition these made to our wedding tables and to our guests pockets as they departed for home! I'm looking forward to hunting for the lost balls with our faces on at courses all around the country!

Secondly a massive thank you to CHAMP for supplying thousands of pink FLY tees. Not only are these an amazing innovation (an environmentally-friendly, durable tee with a six-prong head design that makes it easier to place the golf ball on top of the tee and keep it stable), they looked absolutely amazing packed inside the giant tee shaped vases I used as my flower displays.

Look out for reviews of both in the weeks to come as I've asked my guests to all report back and how they get on...

New Gear

GloveIt Hounds Tooth Glove
It is rare to find a golf glove that is both functional and fashionable but GloveIt has bucked the trend with their unique line of gloves that put a touch of glamour into the game. This high fashion, high performance glove is made from a combination of soft cabretta leather on the palm and a spandex back for the perfect fit. It comes with a matching valuables pouch and can be hand washed so that it lasts longer.

Step out in style
FootJoy has always been a name synonymous with the best quality golf shoes on the market, but they haven't always been the most stylish. The new LoPro collection bucks that trend as it offers a combination of tailored, contemporary and casual styling with waterproof protection.
Utilising soft and fashionable full grain and patent leather, the LoPro provides breathability, support and comfort. It's super-soft PU quarter and Dri-Lex suede tongue linings add comfort and a great look, while the thick PU cushioned Fit-bed with Dri-Lex covering, increases underfoot cushioning and support. The sculpted Women's LoPro also provides a standard fit in the heel and instep with a slightly shallow forefoot.

Tried & Tested

Motocaddy S1 Digital
White is the in-colour in golf, from white drivers to white putters, now there's even a white golf trolley. White might sound a little impractical for a muddy golf course, but when you see the S1 you'll definitely want one. It's packed with features galore, most notably nine speed settings, a whisper quiet motor and a lightweight sturdy frame, making it easy to manoeuvre.

I've been testing the S1 for the last six months and there's absolutely nothing to fault. It's really easy to use and I particularly like the simple folding system which means you will have no worries fitting the S1 in the boot of your car.
