Keep Warm This Winter

What an amazing Indian summer we have had. Being on the course at the weekend you could have almost mistaken it for August! The inevitable chill will soon be with us and the need to start thinking about getting out your Winter warmers. There has been much debate (and scientific research!) over whether you actually lose more heat from your head than anywhere else and they conclude that the heat loss is the same all over the body, the key it would appear, is to not have any exposed areas if you want to stay warm!

Your accessories are therefore vital this Winter and there are some great options of gloves and mittens which are ideal for slipping over playing gloves in between shots. The Daily Sports mittens retail at £25 and come with an Adjustable Velcro-tab which enables you to fasten them onto your trolley when you're not wearing them. and have a lovely soft fleece lining. The Daily Sports gloves retail at £22 and come in a range of bright colours that will stand out on a dull damp Winter course.

There are lots of options for keeping your head warm from the Beanie to the bobble hat. My personal favourite, the fleece headband, has more traditionally been seen on the ski slope rather than the Fairway but they are increasingly becoming more popular. They are designed to be worn as a narrow band across the front which keeps you're exposed fore head and ears covered up and warm preventing heat loss.

Also brand new this Winter is the Surprizeshop quilted hat that comes with a built in magnet and complimentary ball marker. This hat is extremely functional and comes in a choice of 4 colours (black, pink, navy and winter white). At £19.99 they represent great value for money.

The hot colour this Autumn Winter for golf apparel is orchid/purple which looks stunning when worn with white and/black. These accessories offer a great opportunity to introduce some colour this winter whilst offering great functionality!
