Nike Lunar Embellish -The ultimate customisable golf shoe
by Carly Frost
November 08, 2013

As a self-confessed golf fashion addict I love to look the part on the fairways - look the part, play the part, right?! As such every outfit I wear simply has to co-ordinate with my shoes. So you can imagine the dilemma I have when choosing a new pair of shoes, do I keep them neutral so that they go with everything or do I have to buy three or four different pairs (usually the case!)

Step in the new Nike Lunar Embellish, the shoe that has the answer to all of my dilemmas, as it is four-shoes-in-one! Actually this shoe was first introduced last year and I instantly loved the interchangeable colour saddles, and now Nike's clever engineers have refined the design so that it is even more comfortable and supportive.

The Nike Lunar Embellish is so-named as you should feel like you are walking on the moon! It is significantly lighter than the previous model, weighing just 0.24kg, due to the use of lighter materials and a slimmer, more refined design. Nike's patented 'Lunarlon Technology' ensures that your feet are incredibly well cushioned and added traction on the outsole gives great stability throughout your swing.

Of course the signature feature are the two reversible saddles, a different colour on either side, so that you have four colour options, allowing you to match your shoes to your outfit, bag or anything you like really. Aside from making accessorising easier, the different saddle options provide adjustable mid-foot support. A new water-resistant synthetic upper crafted with a no-sew technology film overlay provides additional support and durability for the shoe.

The colour choices are either Pure Platinum/Wolf Grey-White (saddle colours: Red Violet, Turf Orange, Glacier Ice and Wolf Grey) or Black/Metallic Cool Grey White (saddle colours: Dark Grey, Turbo Green, Geranium, Violet Shade).

At £90 a pair they certainly work out a lot cheaper than having to buy four different pairs of shoes and will probably last you as long as all four pairs anyway!
