Awesome golf clothing for travelling golfers
by Carly Frost
January 30, 2014

Scotland's most spectacular golf clothing brand, Royal & Awesome, is extending its offer of free apparel to golf travel organisers, after a successful giveaway in 2013.

The deal with the Golf Tour Operators Consortium (GTOC), Europe's largest independent golf travel group, will see Royal & Awesome give away a free pair of trousers or shorts to customers booking or travelling with a group of 12, or more, through GTOC tour operators until the end of September 2014 - perfect for the group organiser to keep as a treat or a great addition to any prize table. Furthermore, the partnership with Royal & Awesome will also provide exclusive benefits for bookings of all sizes through all GTOC tour operators, including A Golfing Experience, Driveline Golf, Golf Escapes, Golf Amigos, Premier Iberian, LeisureLink Golf Holidays and Exclusive Golf.

Graeme Smeaton, Royal & Awesome's brand director, said: "Dressing to impress is really starting to become synonymous with a golf holiday - at home and abroad - and we are delighted to renew this partnership to ensure that golfer's on tour have even more fun on their holidays this year."

Jim Nicholson, commercial manager at GTOC, added: "The Royal & Awesome promotion was a great success in 2013 - and great fun too - and our clients will continue to dazzle on their golf holidays in 2014."
Royal & Awesome's range of eye-catching golf trousers, shorts and hats are 'perfect for the pars and the bars'. The brand also boasts a range of plus-twos as well as women's trousers, shorts and skorts in dazzling designs, complemented by a selection of men's and women's shirts, socks and belts.

The 'Awesomes' - the brand's range of brightly designed golf trousers - build on the wonderful heritage and history of golf in Scotland by adding a whole lot of fun and colour, and are guaranteed to make an impact on the course, the clubhouse or the corporate jolly. All of the 'bottoms' come with a free golf tool/bottle opener, which is a nod to the strap line of 'for the pars and the bars'.

GTOC, formed in 2011, is a consortium comprising seven established UK golf tour operators and is Europe's largest independent golf travel group with a collective buying power close to €10m.
