Grand Slam of Golf returning to Bermuda
September 9, 2010

Hosted at the newly redeveloped Port Royal Golf Course, the four major golf champions will compete for an incredible US$1.35 million prize in Bermuda from 18-20 October 2010.

See who will be crowned the "Champion of Champions" between the four winners of the Masters, U.S. Open, British Open and PGA Championship including Martin Kaymer, Phil Mickelson, Graeme McDowell and Louis Oosthuizen.

"We are honoured that the 27 th PGA Grand Slam of Golf is returning to Bermuda," says William Griffith, Director of Tourism, Bermuda Department of Tourism. "Bermudians and visitors alike responded positively to the last three Grand Slams and it has now become a real highpoint in our cultural calendar. We're planning on outdoing last year's exceptional efforts to further strengthen our position as a premier golf destination."

Following the success of the 2009's competition at the Port Royal Golf Course, visitors to the island this fall can appreciate the trials of some of golf's greatest players at this 18 championship hole public golf course.

Celebrate the one year anniversary of the Port Royal Golf Course's multimillion dollar renovation, which included a complete reconstruction of its bunkers, tees and fairways with a new irrigation system. As well, TifEagle greens have been implemented for an even smoother golf experience and trees have been relocated to showcase a stunning uninterrupted ocean view.

Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, Port Royal Golf Course features some of Bermuda's most breathtaking and challenging holes in golf all year round.
