Big brands backing NEC Golf Show
September 29, 2010

A host of big-name equipment manufacturers have pledged their support to the NEC Golf Show with Nike, Wilson and Yonex leading the way.

The trio will be showcasing their latest clubs on the show's enormous indoor driving range from November 26-28 while TaylorMade, Titleist, Mizuno and Cobra will be among the other brands represented at the golfing extravaganza.

Visitors will be able to test out the latest clubs from all the big names as well as enjoying a full custom-fitting service and buying equipment at some great show-only prices.

The presence of so many big brands at the event is, in no small part, down to the show's new partnership with the Internet Golf Store which will be running the show's shop and has plans to attract even more manufacturers to the show before it opens.

Damian Benstead, the NEC Golf Show's sales director, explained: "Thanks to Internet Golf Store's superb relationship with all the major brands we're confident of having more big names than ever before available on our driving range.

"It's great to already be able to announce so many manufacturers but there will be even more by the time we open on November 26.

"Internet Golf Store works closely with all the big brands as an official custom fitter and I'm sure they'll be giving our visitors some fantastic bargains to take advantage of at the show."

Barry Young, Internet Golf Store's managing director, said: "We're delighted to be the official retail partner of the NEC Golf Show 2010 and can't wait until November.

"Our team of PGA professionals will be on hand to cater to visitors' every need. We're well equipped to make the show's store a huge success and there will be more big brands on offer to try and buy on the driving range than ever before."

From November 26-28 Birmingham 's National Exhibition Centre will once more showcase everything golf when the NEC Golf Show opens its doors.

Golf nuts can test the very latest equipment from major equipment manufacturers, with more lined up to attend than ever before, as well as taking advantage of professional custom-fitting services and specially discounted show prices.

Golf accessories, gadgets, gizmos, fashion and destinations will also be on offer, along with free coaching. Fantastic prizes will be available on a host of big competitions with the show promising more simulators, more interactivity, more games and more fun.

The NEC Golf Show is the perfect day out for everyone from single-figure handicappers to those just starting out in the game. Tickets cost just £10 but great deals for those buying in advance mean visitors can see the entire golfing spectrum for as little as £6.
