Old Course Experience on offer
June 18, 2010

Golfers can follow the world's best players down the fairway with the ultra-exclusive Old Course Experience.

Hours after the winner of the 2010 Open Championship has lifted the famous Claret Jug at St Andrews, Old Course Experience customers will be enjoying their own time in the limelight, retracing the steps of the sport's elite at the venue, which was recently voted the UK's most desirable course for a golf day in a poll conducted by respected events magazine Square Meal.

The one-of-a-kind tour programme offers guaranteed tee times on the Old Course from April to September, avoiding probable disappointment in the lottery-like daily ballot.  Thanks to Keith Prowse's exclusive global contract with the St Andrews Links Trust, clients will be entertained over the most famous 18 holes in golf and aspiring golfers will fulfil their lifelong ambition .

Every Old Course Experience stay assures a round on the magical Old Course, where the game has been played since the 15 th Century.  Also included is at least one round at the other inimitable links venues which comprise the golfing Mecca of St Andrews, including; the challenging New Course, former Open venue Carnoustie, and the Jubilee Course - all featured in Golf Digest's respected Top 100 Courses list.

Guests will choose from three boutique hotels offering story book settings in the quaint coastal town of St Andrews .  The Old Course Hotel overlooks the 'Road Hole' 17 th and the Royal & Ancient Clubhouse; the Fairmont St Andrews is situated in picturesque St Andrews Bay and hosted global leaders for the G20 summit; while the stately Rusacks Hotel is acclaimed by both critics and locals.

Away from the course, The Old Course Experience will ensure that the world-class status of St Andrews as a sporting destination is matched by an unforgettable dining experience.  A full Scottish breakfast will be served each morning, while a seasonal three-course dinner will be served by expert chefs at each hotel.

The Old Course Experience works in partnership with the St Andrews Links Trust, a charitable organisation which owns and maintains sevens golf courses in St Andrews . The product cements Keith Prowse's reputation as one of golf's principal hospitality and tour programme providers, following Keith Prowse's official appointment at the 2010 Ryder Cup (30 th September - 3 October).

Sheelagh Walker, Operations Director at The Old Course Experience said: "I can confirm the Old Course can be booked from Tuesday 20 th July, immediately after the Open & the Pro-Am on Monday 19 th . We are excited to offer this opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the game's greats just a day after the final round has ended."
