Watson into top 50; Horsey into top 100

Bubba Watson claimed his first PGA Tour victory at the Travelers Championship at the second extra hole of a three man playoff with Scott Verplank and 2010 US Ryder Cup Captain Corey Pavin. Watson and Verplank birdied the first extra hole to eliminate Pavin, before Watson parred the 2nd to defeat Verplank. Watson climbs 31 places to no. 45.

David Horsey won the BMW International Open in Munich by a shot from Ross Fisher, with long-time leader Bradley Dredge in joint third a shot further back. Horsey climbs 94 places to 94th, Fisher moves up eight places to 31st and Dredge rises 33 places to 140th.

This week's other winner were Shunsuke Sonoda at the Gate Way To The Open Mizuno Open Yomiuri Classic on the Japan Golf Tour, Jamie Lovemark at the Mexico Open Bicentenary on the Nationwide Tour and Alvaro Velasco at the Fred Olsen Challenge de España on the European Challenge Tour.
