Career high rankings for Kaymer and Poulter
January 26, 2010

Germany's Martin Kaymer has jumped to a career high world number 6 with victory at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship and second placed Ian Poulter breaks into the world top 10 for the first time as he moves to 10th. It was Kaymer's second victory in three years in Abu Dhabi - he also finished runner up in 2009 - and his fifth European Tour title.

Bill Haas birdied the final hole to win the weather delayed Bob Hope Classic by a single stroke from Matt Kuchar, Bubba Watson and Tim Clark. Haas jumps 88 positions in the Official World Golf Ranking to 112th.
