PGA Catalunya hosts unveiling of Titleist 910 driver
November 18, 2010

PGA Catalunya Resort, Barcelona, the World Top 100 golf course and venue of the 2009 Spanish Open, was the setting for Titleist's Autumn Sales Meeting at which the new Titleist 910 driver was unveiled to the sales teams covering EMEA.

The resort's two top quality golf courses, which will host the 2010 European Tour Qualifying School Finals, as well as its driving range and extensive practice facilities, provided the perfect setting for Titleist executives to test new products and gain a better understanding of the driver's new distinct levels of forgiveness and control.

PGA Catalunya Resort's close proximity to the airports of Girona and Barcelona meant it was easy to coordinate the arrival of 80 Titleist delegates from across Europe, the Middle East and USA.

Ken Graham, Director UK Sales and European Marketing at Titleist, commented: "When we are planning our annual sales meetings, we need to be able to trust that the venue we choose can provide everything we need, from conference facilities, comfortable accommodation, good golf courses and high levels of service - and PGA Catalunya Resort met our expectations across the board.

"The golf courses were fantastic and highly rated by all of the company's executives,"

Billy O'Sullivan, CEO of PGA Catalunya Resort, added: "We have welcomed an increasing number of high profile corporate events throughout 2010 thanks to our new multi-functional, state-of-the-art clubhouse. Its magnificent views of the golf course have been the backdrop for numerous business meetings, conferences and product launches, as well as special events and social occasion s. We look forward to welcoming Titleist again in the near future."
