Fairmont St Andrews gives charity boost
Fairmont St Andrews will be giving charities a huge boost throughout 2011 after slashing its golf day prices for any fundraising events.
The resort's five-star golf days start from just £66 per person and it is offering charities as much as 38 per cent discount on their events.
Stewart Elder, Fairmont St Andrews golf sales manager, explained: "As a global company Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is always keen to support charitable events wherever possible and this is just an extension of that.
"Golf days are massive fundraising opportunities for charities and generate millions for good causes. Hopefully the discounts we're offering will give charities the chance to arrange better events for their supporters and in turn get even more donations."
Fairmont St Andrews offers luxurious golf days tailored to meet individual needs from as little as £66 per person.
Golfers can play on either the Torrance or Kittocks courses both, of which provide a fine test of golf and stunning views across the dramatic Fife countryside and St Andrews Bay from their cliff-top setting.
The views are possibly best appreciated from the clubhouse which offers panoramic vistas and a five-star experience from start to finish with an array of outstanding options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Welcome packs, branded gifts, on-course competitions and starters to announce players on to the first tee, can all be included to ensure the best possible overall experience, and non-golfers are also catered for with a luxurious spa among the other facilities the five-star resort has to offer.
Fairmont St Andrews recently underwent a £17m redevelopment which saw improvements made throughout the estate meaning every detail of a golf day can be catered for to the very highest standard.
