Take a golfing holiday - with the kids
June 15, 2011

Everyone loves their kids - but traditionally if the grown ups want an active holiday the kids have to stay put. That's all changed with the launch of ViK's club at Donnafugata Golf Resort and Spa, Sicily.
Now not only are the youngsters taken off mum and dad's hands but they are also taught the basics of various sports, including golf, taken on trips around the spectacular Baroque Sicilian towns and villages and even get to compete in their own tournaments on a championship course.

This is a wonderful opportunity to spend an active vacation in Sicily in a luxury hotel with two fantastic golf courses - home to the 2011 Sicilian Open - with a huge and fully equipped spa and gym, all just a short distance from the beach and many tourist attractions.

Book from July 15 to August 31, for a complete entertainment service for the enjoyment of children under twelve and release for the grown-ups to do - well, pretty much anything they want. A group of friendly 'characters' will welcome the children and encourage inclusion in the group with smiles and jokes.

Open from 10am - 7pm Tuesday to Sunday, VIK's Club offers an entertaining and educational menu of activities including welcome games each morning followed by creative workshop sessions, sports, team games, tournaments and excursions to the local area. For the budding golf stars of tomorrow the club will also offer golf lessons for children aged 7-12 years, available on request to guests staying between 25 July - 31 July,

Throughout July and August the Donnafugata Golf Resort and Spa is offering a special offer on accommodation for families. Book one room occupied by two adults and enjoy a 50% discount on the second room when occupied by children aged 4 - 12 years.
