Park manager backs IOG Saltex event
March 9, 2011

As Sports & Recreation Team Leader for the City of London Corporation's Golders Hill Park, Kai Kan says his annual visit to IOG SALTEX "ticks all the right boxes" when he is looking at potential new products.

"I went to last year's show specifically to compare new playground equipment," he says, "and I saw and compared lots of equipment we could use to update our play area."

Based in north west London, Golders Hill Park also accommodates football, rugby and cricket pitches, as well as formal park areas. The park is part of the parkland and commons in and near Hampstead Heath , and is part of the Hampstead Heath local nature reserve.

"I'm planning to attend this year's IOG SALTEX (Windsor Racecourse, September 6-8) again with some of my team members; this time to look at new equipment and machinery. The event is a great place to see such a variety of products in one place."

-IOG SALTEX 2011 ( www.iogsaltex.co.uk ) will be held on September 6-8 at Windsor Racecourse, Berks, and will embrace fine turf and sports surfaces, turf maintenance equipment, children's outdoor play and safety surfacing, landscaping, contractors, commercial vehicles, outdoor leisure and facilities management, as well as software and security equipment.  The show is attended by open space management professionals and contractors - from groundsmen and greenkeepers through to play officers, architects, designers and surveyors as well as local authority and outdoor leisure facility managers.
