IOG launches Turfcare Advisory Service
March 10, 2011

To reinforce the provision of high-level turf care maintenance standards, the Institute of Groundsmanship (IOG) has revamped, re-engineered and re-packaged its consultancy arm as the newly entitled IOG Turfcare Advisory Service.

The IOG's re-focused and comprehensive range of Turfcare Advisory Services will provide unequalled and cost-effective guidance to individuals, clubs and organisations seeking help and advice on all aspects of natural and synthetic turf care issues.

The IOG services will be provided via a UK network of advisors and consultants. Crucially, the network will harness the best-in-class skills of groundsmanship and turf care in general.

Commenting on the development, IOG Chief Executive Geoff Webb says: "The IOG has successfully offered and delivered consultancy services for many years to the grounds maintenance industry and, more importantly, to IOG members.

"We've taken a fresh look at the provision of these services, as part of our continual improvement programme, and with renewed focus we are confident that the IOG Turfcare Advisory Service will provide very cost-effective answers to the problems that confront the numerous grassroots sports grounds and stadia today."
