Kingsbarns launches new website

Kingsbarns Golf Links launches a new website today which will enable golfers to make last minute online bookings at the famous Scottish links.

Fresh from celebrating its tenth anniversary season, Kingsbarns is aiming to improve the experience for visiting golfers with a new online presence which will offer an array of enhanced features.

Golfers will now be able to book tee times online within three days of play and pay online with instant authorisation and confirmation. For golfers looking to engage more closely with the top 100 ranked course the booking enquiry page features an interactive online live chat facility and the home page includes social media buttons linking to Kingsbarns' popular Facebook page and Twitter account.

Users of the site will benefit from a brand new course guide with aerial photography and individual hole flyovers. New course photography has been produced for the website gallery reflecting how much has Kingsbarns matured over the first decade of its existence. The photography will be a dominant aspect of the website showcasing the stunning scenery for which Kingsbarns is renowned.

Subscribers to the site will receive regular information updates and notification of events and tournaments. There is also a dedicated media section offering images and a press release archive.

Stuart McEwen, the general manager of Kingsbarns, said, "We reopened for the 2011 season on 1 April and this will be a dynamic and exciting new service for our customers. It will give them an option to make last minute bookings and simplify the booking process. The website will provide them with all the information they need to make the most out of their visit. We also want our customers to be able to engage even more closely with Kingsbarns and our burgeoning social media presence makes it so much easier for them to do so."
