New Father & Son tournament at La Manga
April 26, 2011

A new father and son golf tournament is among a host of May half-term fun and games dedicated to families at La Manga Club.

The better-ball format competition will be played on the five-star resort's South course - the setting for numerous prestigious events including the Spanish Open - on Tuesday, May 31.

Competitors will be playing for a range of fantastic prizes they can enjoy throughout their stay including rounds of golf and dinners at the resort's superb restaurants, with entry to the event costing €100 per pair.

Half-term guests will also be able to take part in La Manga Club's popular Funlandia programme of activities designed specifically for children and families.

The Funlandia fun includes a wide range of events such as sports competitions, face painting, jewellery workshops, movie nights and aquaerobics, most of which are free of charge to guests.

A family of four can enjoy seven nights' bed and breakfast in two adjoining rooms in the five-star Hotel La Manga Club Principe Felipe from just €1,882.

The offer includes one free night, an extended discount of 40 per cent for children occupying their own room and two free activities - a choice of golf, selected spa treatments or junior club sessions - per adult.

Guests staying in the townhouses and apartments at the four-star Las Lomas Village will also receive one free night when staying for a week, making a self-catering break for a family of four available from as little as €1,200.

Prices include tax and free access to saunas, steam rooms, the indoor pool and gym at Spa La Manga Club.
