Half term training camp at Lee Westwood Golf School
February 17, 2011

Do your kids aspire to be the next Lee Westwood and one day emulate his career success?

If so, this half term the Lee Westwood Golf School at the Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf & Spa near Chester will host another of its successful junior training camps for young golfers, looking to develop their golfing skills.

The three day training camp from 22-24 February will teach young golfers from ages 7 - 18 all aspects of golf, using video assessment, skills testing, golf fitness testing and course play. The course aims to be fun whilst focusing on developing and learning new golfing skills from beginners through to those of a higher ability. It's an ideal half term activity for would-be golfers or for those who have already taken up the sport but want to benefit from the school's expert training.

Gavin Hamlyn, Golf Performance Coach at the Lee Westwood Golf School commented: "Following the success of our first training camp in October last year, we wanted to open up the school again giving young local golfers the chance to experience our unique coaching and development facilities . It's the ideal opportunity for kids to either take up a new sport or for more advanced young golfers to make the most of the expert coaching and advice available on their doorstep in this part of Cheshire."

The 3 Day Training Camp takes place from the 22 - 24 February 2011, from 9.30am-3.30pm, at Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf & Spa, Tarporley, Cheshire. There are still places available priced at £145 (accommodation available at extra cost). For further information or to book a place please contact 0844 879 3467.
