Scott Cranfield to be face of The Golfers Club
October 26, 2011

The Golfers Club has teamed up with leading European Tour coach and PGA Master Professional Scott Cranfield, who will become the public face of the UK's #1 insurance and benefits provider. After turning professional in 1985 at the age of 18, Cranfield has become one of the country's most experienced and respected golf coaches, and will serve as an ambassador to promote the benefits of specialist golf insurance. The Golfers Club membership not only offers comprehensive insurance policies but an unrivalled number of added value benefits, including free rounds of golf, GreenFree vouchers for half price green fees, free golf equipment, free tuition, and discounts on golf holidays.

"Scott is highly regarded in the industry, having worked with players of all abilities throughout his career, from complete beginners to Ryder Cup stars. He will be a tremendous asset to The Golfers Club having been involved in a variety of coaching roles over the years, including time spent as the resident expert on Sky Sports and Setanta Sports. He'll bring great value to our members with his online tips and coaching advice," commented Paul Wilson, Director, The Golfers Club. "He's been trusted by so many golfers in overseeing their golfing development and we believe that trust will transcend to others as they learn the benefits of being properly insured."

Having broadened its product range earlier this year to include an all-new Bronze Policy, The Golfers Club has experienced considerable growth in its membership, with players praising its added flexibility and extensive cover. With five GreenFree 2-for-1 golf vouchers, free golf lessons, free registration to the Strokes Golf Handicap and Game analysis, vouchers for Your Golf Travel, as well as online tips from Scott, The Golfers Club also has an unmatched array of membership benefits.

"Over the course of my career I've learned that preparation is one of the keys to a golfer's success. Golf insurance is certainly a major part of that preparation in the modern game, especially for the amateur player and The Golfer's Club gives golfers everything they need before they step on the course," commented Scott Cranfield, The Golfers Club Ambassador. "The golf course can be a dangerous place and golfers of all standards should be properly insured against any eventuality. I'm delighted to align myself with The Golfers Club, which has some unbelievable added value benefits, and look forward to bringing exclusive tips and insights to their members."
