BMW drive after TopGolf Challenge
May 10, 2011

Garage Proprietor Peter Sjoberg, 56, of Epping, came within inches of winning a BMW One Series in the TopGolf Chigwell Corporate Challenge.

The Corporate Challenge sees local businesses from across Essex come together for the chance to win a BMW One Series.

Golfers play two games and on the eleventh ball of the second game they attempt to land their ball into the centre of a special blue target - 150 yards down the range - to win a brand new BMW.

Peter missed by inches, so big-hearted sponsor Sytner BMW (Loughton) kindly granted him use of a Three Series convertible for the weekend by way of compensation.

Peter said: "When I hit the ball I knew it was going to be close, so to miss by a few inches was a bit of a disappointment.

"However, to be able to use the car for a weekend almost makes up for it!"

Eleven local businesses signed up for the Corporate Challenge including Sainsbury's, Worldwide Insurance Group and Raffingers-Stuart.

TopGolf Chigwell Marketing Executive Michael Hay said: "The event was a huge success, and I would like to thank Sytner BMW for supporting the Corporate Challenge."

Local businesses wishing to enter a team for the next Corporate Challenge on June 22, 2011 should contact: chigwellevents@topgolf.co.uk
