Lucinda scores seventh straight success in Aldwickbury Park Club Championship
August 20, 2012

The unstoppable Lucinda Mileham has recorded an extraordinary seventh Ladies' Club Championship victory in a row at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club.

Lucinda retained her crown once again with a gross score of 13-over-par in the 36-hole competition despite the gallant efforts of runner-up Pauline Anderson over the Park Course, which was designed by former Ryder Cup star and BBC commentator Ken Brown and offers stunning views of the Lea Valley.

Rick Garvey took the Men's title the following day with a 36-hole total of eight-over-par seeing him two shots clear of runner-up Simon Wright.

Andrew Shewbridge, Aldwickbury Park Golf Club General Manager, said: "It is wonderful to see Lucinda's dedication to defending her title year after year. There was some outstanding golf played once again and the Club Championships are always hotly contested.

"I congratulate both our winners on their superb victories, and look forward to seeing them both defend their titles next year."
