Golf on menu at Country Restaurant of the Year

Barley Bree, recently crowned Scotland's Country Restaurant of 2012, is giving visitors another reason to come to Highland Perthshire this Summer and Autumn - breaks including golf on some of Scotland's prettiest small courses.
The 6 bedroom 'restaurant with rooms' at Muthill, near Crieff, which won the category at the Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards in May, is offering packages which allow guests to play at a choice of 12 nine-hole courses in the region.
These include Alyth-Leitfie Links, Blair Atholl, Comrie, Crieff -Dornock, Kenmore, Killin, St Fillans and Muthill.
Three nights'dinner, bed and breakfast for two people with a three-day Perthshire Highlands Golf Ticket costs £599. The five nights' equivalent is £990 (based on two sharing a standard double room).
